Chocolate from the source

Our Cocoa Asante chocolate begins with cacao beans from Ghana, where our founder Ella was born, and where the farmers we source from (through TMC and Cocoa Latitudes) earn fair pay. We roast, crack, winnow, and stone-grind the beans in Chattanooga, Tennessee, working each batch for five to six days until the chocolate reaches 15 to 18 microns, half the particle size of typical chocolate. That's where the snap and the melt come from.

Bonbons & bean-to-bar, explained

Our bonbons are hand-painted filled chocolates: a thin dark chocolate shell around ganaches and creams built on flavors we love, from horchata to Biscoff. Our bars are bean-to-bar: made from cacao we source directly, not remelted commodity chocolate. Each box ships cold-safe via FedEx 2-Day with free shipping included, and every order supports fair pay for the 2,200+ farmers in our Ghana co-op.

Ordering & gifting

Will my chocolate arrive safely in summer?

Yes, that is our cold-safe promise. Every order ships in insulated packaging with ice packs via FedEx 2-Day, and we only ship Monday to Wednesday so boxes never sit over a weekend.

What allergens are in your chocolate?

Our chocolate is made in a kitchen that handles milk, tree nuts, peanuts, soy, and wheat. Each product page lists its specific ingredients.

What should I know about Fulfillment & Shipping?

Orders are fulfilled within 1–7 days and ship via FedEx 2-Day Express, with overnight available at checkout. You'll get an email with tracking once your order is on its way. We ship Monday through Wednesday so nothing sits in a warehouse over the weekend, and we recommend keeping an eye on your tracking so your package isn't left outside. Local pickup is available Monday through Friday.

Can I add a gift note?

Yes. Add a free gift note at checkout and we will include it, handwritten style. We never include prices or receipts in the box.
